Hillary a la Bill: I never Inhaled !!!

It is interesting to see how Senator Clinton chooses to reposition her history on voting for the Iraq war now that it is a highly unpopular position for democrats and she is running for president. Rather than saying she made a mistake like John Edwards, she is working on some combination of spin, denial and hype to attempt to appear strong while getting her way. While she could not have a better spin master on the planet in her corner (co-candidate Bill) , let's see if Hillary has the political skills and personal charm to pull it off. Otherwise, she will be another John Kerry.

DEMOCRATS & IRAQ: HERE'S HILLARY

Thomas Friedman: On the right track about Energy Issue

While I have found Tom Friedman to be a huge disappointment over the past few years, he is correct here. There is no better time than the present to push all involved to start getting us away from middle eastern oil...the sooner the better. Everyone must be held accountable ....

Only Halfway There

I’m glad Democrats are keeping the pressure on President Bush for a withdrawal date from Iraq. It’s the only way to keep him and Iraqis focused on the endgame. But if Democrats really want to be taken seriously on foreign affairs, they need to recognize that they have only half a policy on Iraq. And it’s the easy half.
