Maybe They Are Doing Something Right !!!

Man will this ruin a lot of people's day. In a major victory for the Bush Administration, North Korea has agreed to close its nuclear reactor and rejoin the rest of the planet. This is the direct result of the Bush Administration's strategic lobbying of China, Russia, Japan and South Korea over a four-year period. I can't help but think that the "allies" here were extra motivated by the fact that they believe Bush is a bit of a loose cannon and would back up talk if all else failed.

BEIJING, Feb. 13 — North Korea agreed today to close its main nuclear reactor in exchange for a package of food, fuel and other aid from the United States, China, South Korea and Russia.

The breakthrough, which was announced by the Chinese government after intense negotiations and welcomed by the White House as a “very important first step,” comes four months after North Korea tested a nuclear bomb.
